San Angelo Relays Canceled Due to Inclement Weather

Due to forecasts of high winds and inclement weather, the San Angelo Relays, originally scheduled for Friday, March 14, and Saturday, March 15, have been canceled. The decision was made to prioritize the safety of athletes, coaches and spectators. 

“The weather conditions expected later this week create an unsafe environment for not only competition but for travel as well” said Athletic Director Rodney Chant. “While we regret having to cancel, safety comes first. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and look forward to next year’s event.”

This year would have marked the 66th year of competition at the San Angelo Relays.
